What can I say, it’s way easy to write these types of jokes. It’s like one of my good friends said, “Dick jokes are funny. Gay jokes are even funnier because then there are just too many dicks.” Then he wrote out a formula for it. His math was solid. Indisputable, really.

Anyway, people, Carter and I have made some real progress on our next project. You know, the one that is robbing you of one more strip per week? Yeah, that one. It’s coming along.

I just got back from Maine for a week-long sojourn in one of my favorite places anywhere. (I really like that shirt, too) My journey has had a number of side effects, not the least of which was my complete abdication of any work I should have been doing for the site. Luckily, Paul is always around to construct the comic in my perpetual absence, even if he occasionally makes me wish we had a guidance counselor on staff.

I saw Scott Pilgrim twice over the weekend. It is very much up my alley. I think this is the first time in a while that I am at the epicenter of a demographic. If my life were an action movie, the Scott Pilgrim formula would be in the vial held by my nemesis. He’d crack a devious smile and throw it off of a skyscraper and I’d yell “NOOOOOOO!” hurling myself over the side after it, catching up to the vial just in time to guzzle its contents and hug the empty bottle to the side of my face.

The movie’s called Happy Splat.

First of all, I know there is something wrong with me, so don’t. Second, Carter had nothing to do with this, so don’t.

I am going on an impromptu road trip with a friend of mine and this needed to be created late last night. Maybe I had to pee at the time. That’s the only way I can explain the content of this strip.

I’ve been playing some Scott Pilgrim on PS3. It’s a brawler in the vein of Castle Crashers, but from what I can tell, there is no online Co-op, which makes me say “boo”. Also, Scott doesn’t fight every living thing in the books, so it’s a little inaccurate, but the parts I expected to be there so far are there. It’s fun.

I hope you were sitting down. There’s an awful lot of awesome you’ve just been hit in the face with, and we’re desperately trying to not get sued this month. In the likely case that you’re a male and don’t read Cosmo, here’s a little peek into their world. So this is the new site. There’s a lot going on with it, but the general consensus here at the office is that it’s a vast improvement and will not need to be changed ever again.
