Every now and again, we all think about our own mortality, or at the very least, someone else’s. Louis CK tends to lean this way with his humor, which I do like a great deal. However, while it is funny during his time on the stage, it sucks to think about where those jokes came from. He has a whole bit about “why bother with love ‘cuz it’s gonna hurt later”.
Good now leads to shitty later.
What a goddamn awful way to live. But. Hey. Pain can be funny, right? That’s what Lewis Black said, anyway. Hmm. Maybe it’s just guys who go by Lou in some capacity…

Is there a chapter in that Big Book of Birth Defects that explains what Elrond's deal is? Some sort of Tay-Clone's Disorder perhaps?
