Steve Purcell is one of the biggest influences of my life. I didn’t even know you were allowed to make Star Wars jokes until Sam & Max did it. Ok, maybe that’s not true. I made a Luke Dickwalker joke very early on (it killed, btw). I just wouldn’t be the same person I am today without Sam & Max. Surfin’ the Highway should be owned by you. It used to look like this:
Now it looks like this:
Anyway, I figured I’d put together a comic that celebrated Steve now, rather than when he died or something, cuz who knows how long that’s gonna take. See you Thursday.
They should totally release Sam and Max Hit the Road on the iPhone.

Also, the more I look at it, the more the second cover reminds me of some of The Goon covers…

Also, my copy got beat up today. Referencing a book sucks when you're drawing with the other hand.

Luke Dickwalker is aight, but how about… Duke Cockblocker? And the badguy could be Darth Sphincter, or something. I don't know, its 3 am, and I'm sick as a dog, leave my fro alone. But yea, love the sam and max homage.

Buh, I thought we weren't going to have any more South American Cocksucker appearances. I DEMAND A DO-OVER.
