Paul hasn’t been feeling well, and a sick person is rarely a funny person. Sure, it’s funny to the rest of us, but to them the world is a harsh and painful place that never stops hurting you. It’s hard to tamp down my desire to inform him that I have the antidote, and I’ll only give it to him if he comes up with some funny ideas.

Today’s comic earns him three vials of medicine. Three.

I got the chance to meet another actual webcomicker in the flesh. Mr. Ross Nover of The System was gracious enough to have lunch with me in DC yesterday. As you all know, my summer travels are taking me to the thawed North, and I have some family in our nation’s capital that I decided to visit along the way.

I mentioned something in my relentless torrent of information that I feel is worth another few sentences; Kris Straub, of “How to Make Webcomics,” apparently decided that he was mad as hell and wasn’t gonna take it anymore and responded to some criticisms of the HalfPixel ideology.
