We didn’t even have to write today’s comic. This is what life is like between my chosen associate and me.
My dance card is full up today, so our time together must be brief. In order to expedite the communication of things you need to know, I will simply bullet list them and let your simian mind imagine what poetic prose I would employ to impart them to you.
- Site design tweak is coming.
- Possible announcement regarding frequency of new comics.
- Possible T-Shirts for the store.
- New backgrounds for your computer monitors.
- What Paul and I thought of Wolverine.
There. The river has been dealt, the bets have been made and our cards have been shown. I sincerely hope you all had a good Derby Day yesterday, and know that even if you didn’t partake in the celebrations, plenty of people happily celebrated on your behalf.

Goddamn Wolverine movie! Great till they reveal the final (Boss) villain. Then the comic nerd in me screamed foul so hard I didn't realize it was leaking out into the theater. Dammit, I wanted him to have a Marvel Movie! Then the writer decided that logic and physics take a backseat along with the plot….. Like the Joker did a crossover and was in the movie too, I heard a 'bang', and a laughing. Then I realized the there was no punch line, just a bang.
It had such promise too, Sabertooth was awesome for the first time ever in my eyes….
Huh! Sorry, that been happening all day to me when people mentioned that movie. My bad. The comic was awesome, though one would wonder how he knew what one month old dirty dongs smelled like…. Hmmmm….

(SPOILERS) What they did to Deadpool is a crime. I had no idea. At the beggining of the movie, I was amped. Stoked, even. Wade Wilson? Yes please, Marvel, keep going. And then… and then… *single tear*
Whoa, I just had an awesome idea for a comic.
Plus, what the balls were they thinking with the CG claws in the bathroom scene? I thought we had come a long way since "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". I was wrong.

Well now that the cats outta the bag, there is a single ray of hope. I'm told at select theaters that at the end of the credits Deadpool's hand reaches for his head. I teared up when I heard this. Here is that (surprisingly dark) ray of hope:

I'm thinking because that computer is down, and Wade can heal (reattach) his head, no brainwashing left…. He cuts open his mouth, don's the mask, an we might get a decent movie outta this.
My other gripe. The Bullet thing makes no goddamn sense . I mean if he was shot though the eye the thing would make it to his brain. But the forehead? Bullets can me slowed and stopped buy a lot of things for one, so an indestructible substance can't handle one? Not likely. Since they are near water, I would have preferred Sabertooth holding Logan's head under water and drowning him. He's dead. Gambit starts the CPR chest pumping motion. for over a minute Logan is dead, the healing brings him back, but the brain damage erases his memory. Makes for a hell of a lot more plausible reason for the memory loss.
Honestly, once they removed that sheet on X-11 (spooky) the movie went to crap. They raped Deadpool and the memory thing. Everything before that single moment I can live with.

Hi, I just followed the link on The System and read through your archives. You have a good comic, I'm disappointed that I haven't come across it before. And it's got a unique premise, which is very unusual in the sea of cloned webcomics.
If I could presume to make a recommendation on the website tweaking, there is a rather noticeable large white space on the left of the comments. If there are no comments, the crap on the right of the comments expands the size (length? height?) of the webpage beyond what it needs to be. Maybe you could move something across, or put up a banner advertisment? In the end, it is your website, I'm just trying to offer a piece of constructive advice.

The System is great. That's why it's one of 8 links in the sidebar. I never really understood why people link to XKCD or Penny-Arcade; people already know about those.
