Man, I’m really glad that we decided to stick with this continuity. It’s not often that we get to have Elrond drop truth-bombs on some poor middle-schooler with a big forehead. Also, it’s slightly easier to come up with ideas that fit within a pre-defined story framework, as opposed to creating entire universes for three measly panels and a dick joke.
I’ve shut down the forums. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it, but it was time for them to go. We weren’t able to give them the attention they required, and spambots spread throughout them like kudzu or Alabama Creeping Grass. I guess it was premature to try and institute a Gremlins’ community, especially since I can’t even seem to post stuff to our Facebook group with any kind of consistency.
To remedy this situation, I’ve built a tiny device that checks all of our media outlets. If any one of them goes more than two days without an update, I will receive a small yet persistent shock to the hypothalamus gland until I post something new. The thing is, I’ll never know which outlet needs an update. It’ll be like a game of Whack-A-Mole. With shock therapy.
That should do the trick, no?
While I was in California, I bought a book on jQuery. If you’re a web developer, jQuery is your new best friend. Get to know it. Take it out to dinner. Engage in a bromance. It will return dividends the likes of which you have never seen.
Last thing on the promotional agenda for today: If you don’t read The Daily Beast, I suggest that you do. There’s an article up there now by a woman who wrote a book named The Ethical Slut. I will leave that to your imagination.

I'm glad they are advertising "Fighting" on our site. Nothing like two sweaty dudes getting out there and letting their bodies decide who is the bigger man. Mmm hmm.
How many fights will there be in movie theater parking lots this weekend? Will there be Honda civics with spoilers and flame decals doing donuts in the background? Will someone's new white sneakers get scuffed? The suspense is terrible, I hope it lasts.

You know who I'm glad is advertising with us again? Stan Nicholls and his clearly exquisite literature concerning Orcs.
It's a sequel.
