I told you all I would reserve judgement until a later date. After last Friday’s episode, I could no longer bite my tongue. Also, it became clear to me that I wasn’t alone in my lukewarm assessment of the show, so I felt confident that the community at large was ready for our take on it.
Well, Paul hasn’t watched a single episode of it, so I guess it’s my take on it. He’s not really what you would call a “watcher of things on television,” unless he’s controlling those things via a game pad of some kind. Once I told him what Joss Whedon looked like, I think he was onboard with the idea of mocking him.
I don’t know what that says about him. Probably nothing good.
The last word on the whole “Dollhouse” subject is that I’m still going to watch it, despite the best efforts of the show’s creators.
I don’t know what that says about me. Again, probably nothing good.
I finished animating some Left 4 Dead haikus that Paul wrote a while back on his prestigious 1UP blog. I’ve asked him umpteen times to start writing on this site instead, but I don’t think he would stand up very well to that kind of pressure.
Did you hear that? That was a glove slap to the face. Your honor has been called into question, sir.
I’m going to be on a podcast called Webcomic Reviews and Interviews next week. It will be the very first discussion of The Crooked Gremlins over the phone with someone who isn’t Paul. I don’t know when he’ll put it up, but I’ll keep you all posted.
I’m told by people that I used to believe that the JLCM guest comic is nearing completion. Like the second Death Star, it is functional but is still missing a great deal of its surface panels, its skeletal structure still visible to prying eyes and Millennium Falcons.

I'm on the fence with this one as well…It's a decent show…but nothing really that special. But it's better than that car one.
I couldn't even watch that and I TRIED. Dollhouse I can at least get though an episode without my ADD kicking in and leaving.

You mean "Drive" or "Knight Rider?" Doesn't matter. Neither was/is fit for public consumption.

The worst part of the damn show is the premise COULD be awesome. It's the hope that the awesome part, which is purely hypothetical at this point, will make the experience worth it. That's what bugs me the most. Everyone I've talked to didn't like it, but still watched it because of this.
Like the producer made a show to wipe out OUR memories of the last episode. Blissfully unaware we watch it anyway.

Yeah, Drive. That one. I couldn't even watch that one…at least Dollhouse can keep me occupied. Drive was so bad I couldn't even get though an episode.
He needs to do another Serenity or something. I don't know.
